Why do I get error IPX not installed?
(Product Version: 10.01)
 
Some FAXport Client versions are trying to use IPX protocol as default.
When not using Novel Network you need change this setting as follow:
 
Open FAXport Client > File > Network Setup  > Transports
 And REMOVE the IPX check-box.
 
Why FAXport Printer is not installed?
(Product Version: 10.01)
 
This is a known issue caused on 2003 OS sometimes on XP as well.
The reason for this is because of the Group Policy Object Editor.
To resolve this issue please do as follow:
Hit the Start (menu) > RUN
 Type: gpedit.msc
 Computer Configurations > Administrative Tamplates > Printers
"Disallow installation of Printer using Kernel-mode drivers"
This record MUST be changed to DISABLED
 
NOW, there is a need to reinstall the Client in case it is already installed.
